How do you keep yourself motivated and driven by your work, regardless of how busy you are day to day? 
I get satisfaction from business growth, efficiency in processes and resolving client issues.

Moving to the United States, passing the CPA exam and getting to enjoy life with my son, Daniel

I was born in Portugal. In a leap of faith, my parents moved us from there to the United States in 1974.

What is your best business advisory-related tip for businesses? 
Choosing the right entity structure is essential for financial success.

Do you have a hobby or favorite pastime? 
I enjoy CrossFit.

How were you introduced to CrossFit, and what keeps you dedicated to it? 
My wife had a Groupon and a bunch of us went to the foundation classes. I love the structure of the classes, the community and the results.

What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t a CPA?
 I would be an FBI Detective.

Which country do you want to visit, and why? 
Greece. The beaches look beautiful and I want to try the food.

Do you have pets? 
Yes, we have two dogs: Louie and Barkley. Louie is a terror, and Barkley is a sweetheart.
